Vanyanis is thrilled to be taking part in the first ever 'Mystify Me' event. They are presenting a medieval Mind, Body and Soul exhibition! So come along, say hello, get measured for that special outfit and enjoy the rest of what the event has to offer!

WHEN? Sunday 11th October 2009
WHERE? Moorabbin Town Hall, Cnr Nepean Hwy and South Rd (Melbourne, Australia)
TIME? 10am to 5pm

In other news, sorry to all who my have noticed my lack of web presence over the past month or so. Since my harddrive failed and I lost everything (including all the fully edited photos I hadn't yet backed up) it's been hard to find the motivation to do it all over again. But, I learnt my lesson and am backing everything up on a new external harddrive, as I type....

So, what's been happening you may, or may not ask.

Well, I acquired a shiny new Samsung monitor to make my photo editing process easier and better and am going to be doing a short photography course (with Mark Boyle) to learn how to properly use my Canon 1000D digital SLR.

I've also been working on the very extended list of new outfit descriptions that I have to write for the new site and gallery. I'm aiming to have that all done in the next two weeks. It's been at least six months since the last website update and my gallery and outfits have at least doubled. So, I promise it IS coming soon. Just lots to do and many many photos to edit. The aim is to have the new site up and running before the Mystify Me exhibition.

Keep your eyes on my deviantart as I'll be doing a bit of a gallery clean up and inserting descriptions of the outfits as well as uploading some new shots from several recent shoots.

I have also applied for Circa Nocturna 2010 so will let you know if I get in! [link]

About a month ago Vanyanis took part in a photo shoot for Fiend Magazine [link] and will feature in the next edition. Be sure to order your copy!
